ST-ECF Hubble Science Data Archive

The ST-ECF maintains the European copy of the Hubble Space Telescope Archive. The ST-ECF archive is the result of a very fruitful and continuous collaboration with the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) the Canadian Astronomy Data Centre (CADC), and the European Southern Observatory's Data Management & Operations Division.

Through the years, the ST-ECF has been instrumental in the development of many archive value added services: from archive user interfaces (starcat, wdb) to on-the-fly calibration; enhanced data products, like the Wide Field Planetary Camera 2 (WFPC2) associations, originally a pure ST-ECF product and now a joint project with CADC; and the Faint Object Spectrograph (FOS) Post Operations Archive (POA); to cite just a few.

The ST-ECF archive is operated jointly with the European Southern Observatory (ESO) archive.

Access to the regular HST and ESO archives is provided here:

The Hubble Legacy Archive (HLA)

As a recent development, all three Hubble archives (STScI, CADC and ST-ECF) have coordinated their efforts to optimize the future return from their archives. This project, the Hubble Legacy Archive (HLA), offers enhanced data products and new methods of data discovery and access. More information on the HLA is provided here:
